Join the HelderKloof Neighbourhood Watch today and become part of your community.

  • Be informed about all safety, security, and environmental issues in our community through various WhatsApp groups, a monthly newsletter, and monthly public meetings.
  • Receive regular crime statistics and crime pattern updates from the SAPS.
  • Participation in social media is controlled by HKNW Committee and to ensure only relevant information is distributed, advertising is not permitted.
  • Interact with your ward counselors on various platforms.
  • Become part of a two-way radio network in case of emergencies (additional costs apply for the handset only)
  • Receive a reflective house board identifying you as a member of HelderKloof Neighbourhood Watch.
  • Become part of a team of SAPS-certified patrollers and take part in regular initiatives with the SAPS. (Participation voluntary)
  • Use the Neighbourhood watch as a platform for your ideas to improve the security of our neighborhood.
  • All this for a once-off joining fee of R 100.00 and only R 500.00 per annum.

“The HKNW covers the areas of Helderkruin, Helderkruin Hills, many greenbelts, and parts of Kloofendal, including the Nature Reserve, and is divided into the EAST, SOUTH, WEST, NORTH, and KLOOFENDAL routes.

The EAST route borders Kingfisher & Pheasant Streets and borders on the Kloofendal Nature Reserve. The SOUTH route of our area, borders Mimosa Street and Dee Dee Brown Drive. To the WEST, the borders are Banket Drive and Berillium Avenue. The NORTH route borders on Halite Road, Debonair Avenue and Skyhawk Close. The KLOOFENDAL route stretches down Wilgerood Road to Matrys Avenue (the Kloofendal Substation) and borders on Topaz Avenue and Galena Avenue”
